In a press conference on August 18, 2020, Governor Ige introduced the delay of the pre-travel testing program to open Hawaii’s tourism. The pre-travel testing program was initially as a consequence of start August 1. Then it was delayed to September 1. The new begin date is October 1 on the earliest.
