Aloha Friday Picture: Cactus in Hawaii

Aloha Friday Photo: Cactus in Hawaii

Mahalo to Jan Elle for sharing this colourful photograph with us for Aloha Friday Photos.

It’s a bit of bit uncommon to see cacti in Hawaii as they don’t seem to be native to those islands. The cacti in Jan’s photograph look like thriving on this dry microclimate.

We imagine Jan took this photograph at Koko Crater Botanical Garden on Oahu. This backyard is actually situated in a volcanic crater. How neat is that?! Nowadays, Koko Crater Botanical Backyard is free to go to.

Comfortable Aloha Friday!
