Mahalo to Bieke Peeters for sharing this neat shot for Aloha Friday Photos.
Bieke’s photograph was taken from the path to Hideaway Seashore in Princeville, Kauai. What a fairly scene looking over the coral reefs and past!
Greater than 20 years have handed since we braved the steep, slippery path all the way down to Hideaway Seashore. The hike left us each with scrapes and bruises, and, reality be informed, it was a little bit of a daunting expertise. Although the small, secluded seaside was neat to see, we each puzzled if the chance was definitely worth the effort.
Out of curiosity, I regarded for some current stories of this path. From this video we see that the path has been improved considerably with filth stair steps carved out of the cliffside and cord hand rails. None of that was in place after we hiked it. Even with the enhancements, this path will not be with out danger, particularly after rain.
Have you ever hiked the Hideaway Seashore path? What was your expertise?
