JW took this stunning heliconia picture from Waimea Valley on Oahu’s North Shore. I really like how how captured this bloom with the daylight on it. The lighting actually makes the colours pop extra intensely.
Waimea Valley might be more known by its waterfall-fed swimming spot, but it’s much more that that! The valley has 52 themed gardens and over 5,000 doc kinds of tropical and sub-tropical plant. We’ve loved a beautiful go to at Waimea Valley and advocate it.
