It’s a singular expertise to witness dawn at Haleakala. To go from darkness to daybreak’s early mild adopted by the solar rising over the crater summit to light up the moonscape-like environment — it’s unimaginable.
In Linda’s second shot, you get a pleasant, close-up view the porous lava rocks. These stones are orange as a result of excessive quantity of iron that was within the lava eruption.
