– Work is underway to reconfigure the street and parking at Laniakea Seaside off of Kamehameha Freeway on Oahu’s North Shore. This fashionable spot attracts crowds hoping to see honu (Hawaiian sea turtles) as they arrive to shore to relaxation. The parking space can be relocated to the makai (ocean aspect) of the road to remove the necessity for pedestrians to cross the freeway.
